All data and data transport is subject to intrusion. Mission:Mobility solutions use firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to secure data assets by protecting the perimeter of the network. Concurrently, encrypting your data-at-rest on disk will significantly mitigate these threats and allow you to secure your data. Mission:Mobility solutions take advantage of the strongest commercially available algorithms such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Encryption is only as strong as its weakest link. If you encrypt using AES-256, but store your keys in clear text and leave them in an open operating system, it may be fairly easy to compromise your secure data, voice, and video communications across wired and wireless links.

Cisco Embedded Service 2020 Series Switches (ESS 2020 Series) provide base card-only configuration (8 Fast Ethernet and 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports) or with an optional expansion card capable of providing 16 additional Fast Ethernet ports. Data acceleration and compression are provided in Mission:Mobility solutions and products which optimize your data transport saving bandwidth and cost. Mission:Mobility solutions provide ruggedized enclosures required for end customers. We use metal enclosures which often increases weight but provides a medium for both durability and conduction cooling.
SINGLE PERSON TRANSPORTABLE
The compact form factor of the Mission:Mobility solutions using the widely accepted PC104 form factor (approximately 4 inches by 4 inches) provides the capability to engineer more functionality into limited real estate. This engineering tradition makes our equipment lighter and easily transportable by a single person. Our goal is to make your entire network solution check-able or carry-on baggage at any airport with any aircraft carrier. Combined with our power solutions Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations require spare (uninstalled) lithium ion and lithium metal batteries must be carried in carry-on baggage only. When a carry-on bag is checked at the gate or at planeside, all spare lithium batteries must be removed from the bag and kept with the passenger in the aircraft cabin. The battery terminals must be protected from short circuit. Lithium ion (rechargeable) batteries are limited to a rating of 100 watt hours (Wh) per battery.
