Mobile Core Values

Since 2000, Mission:Mobility has supported IT infrastructure design and installation for small, medium and large government organizations, including data centers, work stations and mobile communications suites using Ethernet and other mediums for LAN connectivity.  Additionally, Mission:Mobility personnel have experience managing and deploying broad area cellular systems for carriers and Wi-Fi systems for a host of customers.

When you have limited power options our solutions offer the greatest flexibility.  A/C or D/C power provide Mission:Mobility solutions a game changing advantage over our competition.  Mission:Mobility’s triple switch allows you to use a variety of power sources in the most efficient manor providing hot swap-able battery charging, monitoring and replacement.  Our largest battery is rated at 98Wh which makes it FAA compliant.

All data and data transport is subject to intrusion.  Mission:Mobility solutions use firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to secure data assets by protecting the perimeter of the network.  Concurrently, encrypting your data-at-rest on disk will significantly mitigate these threats and allow you to secure your data.  Mission:Mobility solutions take advantage of the strongest commercially available algorithms such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).  Encryption is only as strong as its weakest link. If you encrypt using AES-256, but store your keys in clear text and leave them in an open operating system, it may be fairly easy to compromise your secure data, voice, and video communications across wired and wireless links.

Mission:Mobility solutions use the highest performance routers, switches and servers on the commercial market today.  The Cisco 5915 Embedded Services Router (ESR) provides high performance, five Fast Ethernet interfaces (two routed and three switched), and a rich Cisco IOS Software feature set, providing investment protection for customers deploying bandwidth-intensive applications in mobile or embedded networks in heavy industrial, public safety, transportation, defense, and energy markets.  Cisco Embedded Service 2020 Series Switches (ESS 2020 Series) provide base card-only configuration (8 Fast Ethernet and 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports) or with an optional expansion card capable of providing 16 additional Fast Ethernet ports.  Data acceleration and compression are provided in Mission:Mobility solutions and products which optimize your data transport saving bandwidth and cost.  Finally, The 6th generation Intel® Core™ i7 processors deliver lighting fast speeds and peak performance in Mission:Mobility servers.

Mission:Mobility solutions provide ruggedized enclosures required for end customers.  We use metal enclosures which often increases weight but provides a medium for both durability and conduction cooling.

The compact form factor of the Mission:Mobility solutions using the widely accepted PC104 form factor (approximately 4 inches by 4 inches) provides the capability to engineer more functionality into limited real estate.  This engineering tradition makes our equipment lighter and easily transportable by a single person.  Our goal is to make your entire network solution check-able or carry-on baggage at any airport with any aircraft carrier.  Combined with our power solutions Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations require spare (uninstalled) lithium ion and lithium metal batteries must be carried in carry-on baggage only.  When a carry-on bag is checked at the gate or at planeside, all spare lithium batteries must be removed from the bag and kept with the passenger in the aircraft cabin. The battery terminals must be protected from short circuit.  Lithium ion (rechargeable) batteries are limited to a rating of 100 watt hours (Wh) per battery.
